Authors

Vasfi Gucer is a project leader with the IBM Systems WW Client Experience Center. He has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of systems management, networking hardware, and software. He writes extensively and teaches IBM classes worldwide about IBM products. His focus has been primarily on storage and cloud computing for the last eight years. Vasfi is also an IBM Certified Senior IT Specialist, Project Management Professional (PMP), IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V2 Manager, and ITIL V3 Expert.

Hartmut Lonzer is the IBM FlashSystem® Territory Account Manager for Germany (D), Austria (A), and Switzerland (CH) (DACH). Before this position, he was original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Alliance Manager for Lenovo in IBM Germany. He works at the IBM Germany headquarters in Ehningen. His main focus is on the IBM FlashSystem family, SAN Volume Controller, and DS8000. His experience with the SAN Volume Controller and IBM FlashSystem products goes back to the beginning of these products. Hartmut has been with IBM in various technical and sales roles for 45 years.
