    Abstract

One way for businesses to improve their operational efficiency is by expanding their knowledge of existing customers, improving the coordination of customer information across channels, and correlating events that impact customer value. This IBM® Redbooks® Solution Guide describes how to use IBM Big Data and Analytics Platform to provide a more comprehensive view of a customer’s interaction with an organization’s products and services. It provides an example about how to take multiple sources of information and analyze that data to gain insight. This example uses disparate data sources, real-time analytics, an appliance data warehouse, analytic modeling, and reporting tools to support the business decision-making process.
