MOM -- Modular Ocean Model – is a popular code used for studying the global ocean climate system; MOM4 is the latest version (4) of MOM. It is developed and supported by Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL), Princeton University, New Jersy, USA. In this report, we present guidelines to benchmark MOM4 on an IBM p-series Linux clus-ter, and include performance results.
