Posted by Wong Chia Cheong on 21 September 2016 at 3:58 Figure 1-1 picture is showing 4 system nodes in a fully configured E870 system Only E880C models can configure upto 4 nodes. Please correct it. |
Posted by Wong Chia Cheong on 21 September 2016 at 6:10 Another supposed error information If E870 one node max memory is 8TB then two system nodes of E870C max memory should be 16TB? why on page 28, Table 1-9 still showing only 8TB on system memory maximum Aside to that, on page 47, clearly mention two system nodes of E870C can address up to 16TB of memory Please clarify |
Posted by Mr. Scott Vetter on 21 September 2016 at 12:39 Thanks for the catch! Look for a new draft out today and we will also back route the changes to the non-C papers and those will be updated in 24 hrs. |
Posted by Mr. Scott Vetter on 21 September 2016 at 16:04 The error was the result of the 10 core per SCM feature not being available on the new "C" models, however it is possible to have a 2 node system, each with 8 TB on the 8 core SCM and therefore total 16 TB as indicated elsewhere. Thanks again! |
