Abstract
Tivoli Software provides a comprehensive set of capabilities to allow its management applications to work seamlessly in a secure firewall environment, without asking its customers to compromise their security settings in any way. This combination of features makes Tivoli unique in the industry.
The purpose of this paper is to describe, in non-Security Expert’s language, the components that Tivoli provides, and how each is used to address issues associated with firewall security. Customers can install and activate any of the components that match their requirement, making this a very flexible and effective solution.
