Specifying the public authority (AUT) parameter when creating a database file

When you create a file, you can specify public authority. Public authority is the authority a user has to a file (or other object on the system) if that user does not have specific authority for the file or does not belong to a group with specific authority for the file. For more information about public authority, see Specifying Public Authority.
