Debugger APIs

The debugger APIs can be used for program debugging on the AS/400 system. These APIs are divided into separate sets of APIs, as follows:

• Integrated Language Environment (ILE) APIs

  • Source debugger APIs

  • Create view APIs

  • Dump Module Variable API

• Original program model (OPM) APIs

  • Retrieve Program Variable API

  • Source debugger APIs

The debugger API user can use these sets of APIs independently of each other or together as needed. Each of these sets of APIs is described below. Following this are the detailed API descriptions presented in alphabetical order.
