Socket programming

Socket programming shows how to use socket application program interfaces (APIs) to establish communication links between remote and local processes. Socket programming information is intended for programmers who use the Integrated Language Environment (ILE) C for AS/400 language to develop applications that handle socket functions.

As of V4R3, socket system functions and the socket network functions are threadsafe.
