Abstract

This IBM Redbook looks at many of the new functions and enhancements in the latest release of WebSphere MQ Integrator V2.1. We also review some of the newer features of the previous product.
We create self-contained mini-applications and show how to incorporate these features into applications. Each chapter has additional material such as importable configurations and sample programs you can download to use yourself.
We show you how you can introduce an MQSeries Everyplace solution to gain the benefits of handheld devices. Where appropriate, we discuss performance issues and recommend ways of helping you to improve performance.
Finally we show you how to bring all the self-contained mini-applications together to form one complete application.
The main topics covered in this redbook are:
- Systems administration and environment
- ESQL
- MRM
- Aggregator family nodes
- Java plug-in nodes
- RouteToLabel and Label nodes
- Databases and XA
- Problem determination including Visual Debugger
- MQSeries Everyplace
