Abstract

The IBM WebSphere Personalization V3.5 product provides users of WebSphere Studio V3.5, Advanced Edition and WebSphere Application Server V3.5, Advanced Edition with the ability to develop and deploy customized Web pages to meet the particular interests and needs of each Web site user. Implementing a personalization strategy is a good way to develop customer loyalty and complement the marketing campaigns of your Web site.

Part 2, "Personalization using the Resource and Rules Engines", provides an in-depth explanation of the features of the Resource Engine and Rules Engine. In addition, we provide step-by-step examples of how to implement rules-based personalization using a sample application.
