Abstract

This redbook covers the IBM eServer pSeries 680 and RS/6000 Enterprise Server Model S80 (hereafter referred to in this redbook as the pSeries 680 and S80 respectively). It will help you understand the architecture of each machine and the similarities and differences between them. An overview of the optional features for each machine is also provided along with advice on how to use the PCRS6000 Configurator to produce a valid configuration.
