 Building e-commerce Solutions with Net.Commerce: A Project Guidebook
 |
|
|
This redbook is intended as a guide to help build e-commerce solutions
using Net.Commerce. It covers Net.Commerce Version 3.1.2
for the AIX, Solaris, and Windows NT platforms. The book is
structured into the typical phases of an e-commerce project and
presents both theoretical and practical material to the reader.
The theoretical side consists of detailed overviews (some high level
and some low level) of the steps to take, considerations to make, and
traps to avoid in each phase. This side of our discussions can be
applied to just about any e-commerce project, not just Net.Commerce
projects. Its intent is to provide a structured framework on which
projects can be modeled.
The practical side consists of the application of this theory to specific
Net.Commerce issues. In particular, the design, implementation, and
deployment of a Net.Commerce online store are discussed in great
detail. Sample design templates and sample source code are provided
to give low-level assistance in creating your site. |
