Image and Workflow Library: Content Manager for ImagePlus on OS/390 Implementation and EIP

This IBM Redbook is updated for Version 3 of IBM SAA ImagePlus MVS/ESA. Its two components have been renamed to IBM Content Manager ImagePlus for OS/390 and IBM Content Manager ImagePlus Object Distribution Manager for OS/390. These products are content servers on the OS/390 platform.
Enhancements included in this new version are the TCP/IP support used by the ImagePlus Workstation Program and the Workstation Remote
Application Programming Interface (WRAPI). Implementation of these two enhancements is described in this book.
Customers who want to extend their image system into the Web environment can use the newly-announced product IBM Enterprise Information Portal for Multiplatforms (EIP). We show you how to use the EIP administration functions to define content servers on OS/390 and enable Web access capability
with your ImagePlus system.
A knowledge of MVS/ESA system programming is assumed.
