Abstract

This redbook will help you turn an OS/390
V1R3 or V2R4 system into a productive Internet host. It describes and facilitates
the installation and use of OS/390 TCP/IP OpenEdition and
contains a description of the TCP/IP functions that are implemented
in OS/390 TCP/IP OpenEdition. It will help you install, customize and use OS/390 OpenEdition in different environments. The redbook focuses on how to use OS/390 TCP/IP OpenEdition to connect an OS/390 host to an Internet and shows the differences between IBM TCP/IP Version 3 Release 2 for MVS OpenEdition Applications Feature and OS/390 TCP/IP OpenEdition.
