Abstract

The WebSphere MQ Service Definition specification defines how to describe WebSphere MQ applications as services for use in SOA solutions. The WebSphere MQ Service Definition Specification and its companion document, the WebSphere MQ IRI Specification, are now available as SupportPac MA93.

This Redpaper discusses the WebSphere MQ Service Definition Specification and the WebSphere MQ IRI Specification. It includes an example scenario that illustrates how to use these specifications to define SOAP and non-SOAP WebSphere MQ applications as services, how to register these services to WebSphere Service Registry and Repository, and how to access the registered services from a message flow in WebSphere Message Broker.
