Installing and Using MPICH, MPICH-GM, and MPICH-MX on Linux Systems

In this Redpaper we present simple scripts to build and install the MPICH, MPICH-GM, and MPICH-MX packages using PATHSCALE compilers on EM64T systems running RHEL3 and Opteron systems running SLES9. Then we show how to build MPI applications using other compilers (GNU GCC compilers, PGI compilers, and Intel compilers) without rebuilding the MPICH, MPICH-GM, and MPICH-MX libraries.
