This IBM Redpaper provides an overview of the Rational product installation process, describes how to create IBM Tivoli Configuration Manager software packages for the Rational products, and demonstrates how these packages can be used to distribute Rational products to a large number of systems. The paper can be used as a reference document to enable clients to perform unattended installations of Rational products.
The installation process in this paper applies to a Microsoft Windows-based target environment.
