Abstract
This technical guide describes the updates to the Resource Access
Control Facility (RACF) provided in RACF Version 2 Release 2. RACF V2.2
contains three new major functions and some minor new functions.
The new major functions are the RACF Remote Sharing Facility (RRSF),
the Remove ID Utility, and enhanced OpenEdition MVS support.
In addition to the major functions, there are some end-user and
system management enhancements in RACF V2.2.
A comprehensive presentation on RACF support in the open system
environment is available in "RACF Support for Open Systems" (GG26-2005).
That document on open systems includes the enhancements that are part
of RACF V2.2.
This technical guide is intended for IBM customers, systems engineers,
and other marketing personnel. This document contains half-size foils
with text. The full-size foils are available on the IBM MKTTOOLS disk.
This guide is intended for use as presentation material for IBM customers.
