Redbooks logo

An IBM Redbooks publication

Abstract

This document serves two purposes. It describes the most important
performance aspects of NCP in great detail, and offers an extensive
coverage of the NTuneMON and NTuneNCP, collectively referred to as
NTune, products.

It explains the information NTune is providing and details how NTune
can be used to change NCP parameters dynamically, diagnose problems
and optimize the performance of your SNA network. A complete list of
NCP parameters that can be changed is included.

A separate chapter has been added summarizing all tuning recommenda-
tions made throughout the document. This chapter can be used as a
tuning checklist.
