Dino Quintero is a Senior Certified Consulting IT Specialist, and the worldwide Technical Marketing Manager for the IBM System Blue Gene Solution. Before joining the deep computing marketing team, he was a Clustering Project Leader for the International Technical Services Organization (ITSO). Dino worked as a Clustering Performance Analyst for the Enterprise Systems Group, focusing on industry benchmarks such as TPC-C, TPC-H, and TPC-W. He also worked as a Disaster Recovery Architect for IBM Global Services, specializing in backup and recovery solutions for large customers. Dino joined IBM in 1996, and has been part of the IT industry since 1992. His areas of expertise include enterprise backup and recovery, disaster recovery planning and implementation, and clustering architecture and solutions. He is an IBM Certified Specialist on System p Administration and System p Clustering, and is also an IBM Senior Certified IT Specialist. Currently, he focuses on planning, influencing, leading, managing, and marketing the IBM Blue Gene Solution. Dino also delivers technical lectures worldwide.
Octavian Lascu is a Project Leader at the ITSO, Poughkeepsie Center, who joined IBM in 1992. He writes extensively and teaches IBM classes worldwide on all areas of IBM System p and Linux clusters. Before joining the ITSO, he worked in IBM Global Services Romania as a software and hardware services manager. Jean-Michel Berail is an AIX Specialist at the Product and Solution Support Center (PSSC) in IBM Montpellier, France, who joined IBM 28 years ago. He has 12 years of experience with AIX, specializing in the installation, backup and migration of System p clusters. He has developed materials about clustering for education and workshops on Parallel System Support Programs (PSSP), Cluster System Management (CSM), and Network Installation Manager (NIM). He teaches CSM and NIM courses in IBM Education Centers and at customer sites. Jean-Michel has co-authored or reviewed several IBM Redbooks on PSSP, CSM and NIM. He is also a Professor of Computer Science at a Montpellier university, and is a graduate of the E.N.S.E.I.R.B. (Bordeaux, France) engineering school.
Hassan Elsetohy works for IBM in Integrated Technology Delivery in Sydney, Australia. He joined IBM in 1994 as a Systems Engineer after attaining his Bachelor of Engineering degree, and also holds a course-work Masters degree in VLSI design. He is an IBM Certified IT Architect, an IBM Certified Specialist, and an IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert. He has also recently attained SNIA and Linux LPI certifications. Hassan has been performing the Lead IT Architect role, as well as the Method Exponent role, in major engagements. He also often performs the SME role, and has undertaken the development of detailed end-to-end designs in his areas of specialty, which include IT optimization, AIX, System p, SAN Storage, systems performance and capacity management, and disaster recovery planning. He has experience in utilizing field-proven methodologies during engagements, including the IBM GS Method, the IBT Consultancy Methodology, and the Zodiac/ALIGN Server consolidation methodologies.
Chris Gibson is a Senior AIX Systems Administrator for Insurance Australia Group (IAG), Australasia's leading general insurance provider. He has worked with UNIX systems for more than 12 years. Since 1999, he has been involved with RS/6000, SP, and pSeries systems running AIX. His areas of expertise include AIX 5L and NIM. He has also worked with HACMP, CSM and PSSP. He is an IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert in pSeries and AIX 5L.
Andreas Gogolin is an IT Specialist working for HA-Business Ltd. in Germany. Previously, he was a UNIX consultant for Bechtle and Motorola. Andreas has 12 years of experience with AIX, and is an IBM Certified Specialist for AIX, System p, and open systems storage.

Bjorn Roden is an AIX Expert from Sweden. He has worked with AIX since version 2.2.1 and 3.1, starting with his work at IBM in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and continuing today at Pulsen Systems. He has worked with most parts of AIX and SP2/PSSP, HACMP, ADSM/TSM, LPAR, and various open source software. He has been continuously IBM AIX certified since 1994, accumulating more than 30 certificates, including Advanced Technical Expert, HACMP, Enterprise and Virtualization Technical Support, and Tivoli Storage Manager. Bjorn has co-authored the IBM Redbooks publications RS/6000 SP System Performance Tuning Update, SG24-5340-01, AIX 5L Performance Tools Handbook, SG24-6039, Tivoli Storage Manager Version 5.1 Technical Guide, SG24-6554, and Linux Applications on pSeries, SG24-6033-01. Kelvin Tan is an Advisory I/T Specialist working in ITS, IBM Singapore, who joined IBM in 2000. He has been providing support on AIX, RS/6000-SP, HACMP, Micro-Partitioning and Virtualization.
