Aleksandr V. Nartovich is a Senior I/T Specialist in the ITSO, Rochester Center. He joined the ITSO in January 2001 after working as a Developer in the IBM WebSphere Business Components organization. During the first part of his career, Aleksandr was a Developer in AS/400 communications. Later, he shifted his focus to business components development on WebSphere. Aleksandr has a degree in computer science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a degree in electrical engineering from Minsk Radio Engineering Institute.
Juan Manuel Alcudia is an IBM Certified IT Specialist on iSeries. He worked for TRENTISA, an IBM Business Partner, in Madrid, Spain. In June 2007, Juan joined Software Services at IBM Spain. His responsibilities include designing and implementing System i and WebSphere solutions. Juan Manuel has a degree in Computer Science from Polytechnic University of Madrid.
Norman Bels is a senior Technical Consultant in the IBM Innovation Centre for Business Partners in Sydney, Australia. Norman works with business partners, assisting them to port and test their applications to IBM hardware and software platforms. Currently Norman specializes in the areas of WebSphere and System i and has certifications in Rational Application Developer and DB2. In his 27 years with IBM, Norman has worked as an instructor and also in areas of hardware support, software support, marketing support, network support and now developer support.
Michael Fiebig is an Advisory IT Specialist and member of the IBM EMEA WebSphere Support Organization, which is based in Switzerland. He has over 22 years of experience in working with S/34, S/36, S/38, and the System i platform. His areas of expertise include i5/OS, ERP solutions, and WebSphere products.
Rafal Jablonski is an Advisory IT Specialist in Poland and the CEMAAS region. He has been with IBM since April 2003. Prior to joining IBM, Rafal had seven years of experience in application development and integration. He started his career as an Application Developer and has worked with a wide range of development languages and tools. His areas of expertise include OS/400, i5/OS, Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), C and C++, WebSphere Application Server, and MQSeries. Rafal has a master degree in electrical engineering from AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.
Heather R. Jones is a Staff Software Engineer working at the IBM Rochester, Minnesota location. She earned a BS in Scientific and Technical Communications from Michigan Technological University. She has iSeries system operator certification from Alexandria Technical College. For the past six years, she has worked as a technical writer in the User Technologies area, covering multiple i5/OS documentation projects, which includes integrated file system, DB2 UDB for iSeries, and WebSphere Application Server for i5/OS. Currently, she is the documentation team leader for the WebSphere Application Server for i5/OS product, working on maintaining the Information Center for all versions of the product.
Adam Smye-Rumsby joined IBM in 2000. He currently works as an Advisory Software Support Specialist for IBM in the UK, where he solves customer problems that are related to IBM WebSphere Portal and Lotus Domino. Previously he worked at IBM Hursley Laboratory in the UK testing IBM Java software development kits (SDKs) on a variety of platforms. He also worked as a tester on IBM Web Services technology. Adam has a Computer Science degree from the University of Portsmouth.
