Paolo Bruni is a DB2 Information Management Project Leader at the International Technical Support Organization based in the Silicon Valley Lab. He authored several Redbooks publications about DB2 for z/OS and related tools and has conducts workshops and seminars worldwide. During Paolo's many years with IBM, in development and in the field, his work is mostly related to database systems.
Joel Gauci is an Advisory IT Specialist working for the IBM Software Group in France in DataPower Technical Sales. Joel has specialized on IBM WebSphere DataPower appliances since 2005. He previously worked for IBM GBS in design and implementation of portal and Web services platforms. He has worked on SOA and WebSphere DataPower projects since 2006 for leading firms in the mobile telephony area. Joel has a master's degree in computer science and engineering from l'Ecole d'Ingenieurs du Pas-de-Calais School (EIPC), France.
Sabine Kaschta is a DB2 Specialist working for the IBM Software Group in Germany. Currently she primarily works as a Segment Skills Planner for the worldwide curriculum for DB2 for z/OS training. She also works on course development and teaches several DB2 for z/OS classes worldwide. Sabine has 17 years of experience working with DB2. Before joining IBM in 1998, she worked for a third-party vendor providing second-level support for DB2 utilities. She is experienced in DB2 system programming and client/server implementations in the insurance industry in Germany. Josef Klitsch is a Senior IT Specialist currently assigned to work for IBM PSSC Montpellier, New Technology Center with responsibilities in DB2 for z/OS Data Serving and Consolidation. After he joined IBM in 2001, he provided DB2 consultancy and technical support to Swiss DB2 for z/OS customers and worked as a DB2 subject matter expert for IBM China. Prior to his IBM employment, Josef worked, for more than 15 years, for several European customers as an Application Developer, Database Administrator, and DB2 systems programmer with a focus on DB2 for z/OS and its interfaces. His preferred area of expertise is stored procedures programming and administration.
Pallavi Priyadarshini works in the DB2 for z/OS product development at the IBM Silicon Valley Lab, San Jose, CA. Prior to her current role, she was involved in Web application and secure XML solution development as part of IBM Global Services, Infomosaic, and IPDynamics. She has a masters degree in Computer Science from San Jose State University, CA and a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Rajesh Ramachandran is a Senior Software Engineer in IBM System z e-Business Services. He currently works in the Design Center in Poughkeepsie as an IT Architect and DB2 assignee. He has 12 years of experience in application development on various platforms, which include z/OS, UNIX, and Linux utilizing COBOL, Java, CICS, and Forte.
