Useful redpaper - thanks. One question - the redpaper doesn't mention varying on the physical line description when setting up the bridging - I assume that also needs to happen?

I have tried to varying on the physical line decs. but get:
Ethernet bridging not supported for resourse. Reason 00002092

The redpaper looked good...until trying to vary on the physical line. Failed with error: Ethernet bridging not supported for resource. Reason 00002092
The resource is CMN04 1818 Operational Ethernet Port

Please help

I have the same problem: the resource is an HEA port so there's no support for bridging.
Is there a way to configure this kind of adapter with VPM and have a client IBM I partition working on it?
