Nagraj Alur is a Project Leader with the IBM ITSO, San Jose Center. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, India. He has more than 30 years of experience in database management systems (DBMSs), and has been a programmer, systems analyst, project leader, independent consultant, and researcher. His areas of expertise include DBMSs, data warehousing, distributed systems management, database performance, information integration, and client/server and Internet computing. He has written extensively on these subjects and has taught classes and presented at conferences all around the world. Before joining the ITSO in November 2001, he was on a two-year assignment from the Software Group to the IBM Almaden Research Center, where he worked on Data Links solutions and an eSourcing prototype.
Zhebin Cong is an IT/Specialist with IBM Global Delivery Center in Dalian, Liaoning province of China. He has 13 years of experience as an electrical engineer and software engineer. He is a IBM certified AIX system administrator, SUN certified Java programmer and Microsoft certified solution developer and system administrator. His areas of expertise include J2EE and Dot Net. Since joining IBM in 2005, he has provided high-quality services to three IBM customers. One of his products has been approved to apply for an American patent by IBM Intellectual Property Law Department.
Maciej Mlynski is an IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - IBM System p and AIX 5L. He works for ASpartner Sp. z o.o., an IBM Premier Business Partner. He holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice, Poland. He has more than 10 years experience in information technology including banking, insurance, and telecommunication area. His areas of expertise include autonomic problem determination, continuous integration, automatic performance tuning, Java-based application servers, very large databases, and highly-loaded and mission-critical computer systems. He also holds many professional certifications including WebSphere, DB2, and SAN. He is a frequent speaker at scientific conferences and technical events. He is presently involved in Ph.D. research. His topics of interest are dynamic resources allocation and virtual execution environments.
Sivaram Balakrishnan is a Senior Software Engineer at Object Edge Inc with more than 10 years of experience in building frameworks and distributed application systems. He specializes in software patterns, frameworks, object-oriented design, service oriented architecture, and J2EE programming. He has extensive experience with WebSphere products and has developed tooling on eclipse/RAD platforms. His current interests are SOA, Enterprise Service Bus, and open source frameworks.
Oliver Suhre is a Senior Software Engineer at the IBM development lab in Boeblingen, Germany. Since joining IBM in 2000 he has worked on a number of projects in the area of Text Analysis and Information Integration. Currently, he is working both as an architect and a developer on a project related to the integration of IBM Information Server with other products across the IBM software portfolio, such as WebSphere Process Server. His areas of expertise include Services Oriented Architectures (SOA), Information Integration, Eclipse, and Java/J2EE-based application development. Oliver is the author of several patents and publications and holds an MSc from the University of TŸbingen, Germany.
