David Watts is a Consulting IT Specialist at the IBM ITSO Center in Raleigh. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Queensland (Australia) and has worked for IBM both in the US and Australia since 1989.
Rok Rebolj is an IT Trainer and Consultant in Slovenia. He has 15 years of experience in the IT field. His areas of expertise include IBM System x and BladeCenter servers, storage networking, server virtualization, systems management and Windows Server operating systems. He holds industry certifications from different vendors (IBM, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Citrix). Rok has co-authored several IBM Redbooks publications about IBM servers, storage devices, and Microsoft operating systems. Krishnan Iyer is the founder and CEO of Expera LLC, a leading edge consulting firm focused on virtualization and security solutions for enterprise customers. Krishnan has over 20 years of experience in the software industry. He spent 15 years at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, WA in various roles. This includes Microsoft Product Support Services, Microsoft IT, Microsoft Consulting Services, and the last five years in the Windows engineering and microsoft.com product development teams. In his last position, Krishnan had full engineering product ownership for the VPN suite that ships in the Windows family products. Rufus Credle is a Certified Consulting IT Specialist at the ITSO, Raleigh Center. In his role as Project Leader, he conducts residencies and develops IBM Redbooks publications about network operating systems, ERP solutions, voice technology, high availability and clustering solutions, Web application servers, pervasive computing, IBM and OEM e-business applications, IBM System x, IBM x-Series, and IBM BladeCenter. Rufus' various positions during his 28-year IBM career have included assignments in administration and asset management, systems engineering, sales and marketing, and IT services. He holds a BS degree in business management from Saint Augustine's College.
Guy Kempny is an IT solutions specialist for the Australia-based SCAA pty ltd, which provides solutions for the SMB market in the construction, building, financial, and hospitality sectors. He is also a consultant to Medical Data Services in South Carolina, USA. Prior to this, he managed the IT infrastructure at Australia-based Mt Hotham Ski resort. He is also a director of the Australian mining company, AusMinerals pty ltd. Before consulting, Guy was with IBM Australia for 19 years. Some of his responsibilities were software support for the Intel and OS/390 platforms, speech software, Lotus and WebSphere. He specializes in speech software and Lotus Notes. In hardware he managed, designed, and implemented solutions using both IBM and other manufacturer's equipment. In addition, he designed and implemented networks for IBM worldwide. Roles within IBM included IT specialist, Technical Marketing Specialist, project management, network architect, deployment and support specialist. For almost a decade, Guy project managed IT solutions for IBM's corporate sports sponsorship and large-scale events. A particular highlight was the role of Program Manager for the IBM Olympic Project Office for the 1998 Nagano and Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Guy has been invited back to participate in several Redbooks publications.
Charles Queiroz is an IT Specialist working for IBM Global Services in S‹o Paulo, Brazil. He has more than 11 years of experience implementing Microsoft Exchange (MCSE Messaging and MCITP: Enterprise Messaging) and providing IBM technical support. His areas of expertise include IBM System x and BladeCenter servers, Microsoft Systems (Exchange Server versions 5.5/2000/2003 and 2007), Active Directory, server virtualization, systems management and Windows Server operating systems.
