Alex Louwe Kooijmans is a Project Leader with the International Technical Support Organization (ITSO) in Poughkeepsie, NY, and specializes in WebSphere, Java, and SOA on System z with a focus on integration, security, high availability, and application development. Previously, he worked as a Client IT Architect in the Financial Services sector with IBM in The Netherlands, advising financial services companies on IT issues such as software and hardware strategy and on demand. Alex has also worked at the Technical Marketing Competence Center for zSeries and Linux in Boeblingen, Germany, providing support to customers starting up with Java and WebSphere on zSeries. Foulques de Valence is a System z security IT Architect with IBM STG and is currently based in Poughkeepsie, NY, where he works for the Lab Services team. Previously, he was a Web infrastructure IT Architect in France focusing on SOA and z/OS. Foulques instructed about end-to-end security solutions for WebSphere on z/OS worldwide. He is a co-author of several IBM Redbooks publication dealing with security and WebSphere Application Server for z/OS. He received a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Ensimag in France. He furthered his education at the State University of New York at Buffalo and at Stanford University.
Yukari Hanya is an IT Specialist with the WebSphere for z/OS team in Design Center Makuhari in AP Advanced Technical Support (ATS). She has been involved in a WebSphere Application Server project for z/OS for the last two years and is responsible for providing technical support for WebSphere for z/OS customers.
Keith Jabcuga is a Software Support Specialist working in the IBM Support Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. He has worked on the WebSphere for z/OS support team for five years, and his areas of expertise include defect support and application diagnostics. Keith holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Buffalo.
Marc van der Meer is a z/OS IT Specialist with IBM GTS/ITS in the Netherlands. He has been specializing in security and WebSphere on z/OS for several years. His current assignments include high-availability WebSphere infrastructures on z/OS through sysplex functionality, security migrations, and J2EE security implementations.
Gabriel Mogos has been working on the z/OS platform for many years in the areas of VTAM and TCP/IP products. He worked as a VTAM change team member in troubleshooting and fixing internal and external reported problems. He also worked as a services consultant assisting customers migrate from SNA to IP network infrastructure and custom application programming. He holds a Msc. degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Currently, he is working in Enterprise Network Transformation Solutions (ENTS) support and development.
Eran Yona is an IT Architect from the Israeli Ministry of Defense. He has 15 years of experience in IT. He has a B.A. in business from the College of Management in Israel. His areas of expertise include data center management, data center infrastructure, disaster recovery solutions, and virtualization.
